About
Lishuang Xu (b. 1989) graduated from Chelsea College of Arts (UAL) majoring Fine Art. Drawing on her previous experience in the media industry—where work was driven by speed, instruction, and immaterial output, her practice examines how the body is reorganized by systems of labor and time.
Working across performance, video, and installation, Xu approaches the body as an interface: trained, constrained, and gradually displaced by tools, structures, and operational rhythms. Through the displacement and repetition of bodily movement, her work reveals how human labor becomes abstracted and embedded within operational systems.
Her work has been exhibited at Shenzhen Art Museum, OCAT, Tank Shanghai, A4 Art Museum, Macalline Art Center, Hong Museum, Triangle Space (UK), and Biennale Sztuki MediŦw WRO (Poland).
徐立霜
毕业于伦敦艺术大学切尔西艺术学院纯艺术专业，现生活于中国上海。在开展独立创作之前，她曾在媒体行业工作，这段经历一直影响着她对支配人体、感知和行动的机制的兴趣。她将人体视为一个界面——经过训练、受到限制，并逐渐被工具、结构和操作节奏所取代。她的创作涵盖表演、视频和装置艺术，探讨了劳动体系、指令体系和时间体系如何重塑人体结构。
徐立霜曾参与深圳美术馆、OCAT（深圳）艺术中心、广州美术学院大学城美术馆、油罐艺术中心、喜马拉雅美术馆、UP-ON国际现场艺术节(A4美术馆）、美凯龙艺术中心、Hong美术馆、Third Street Gallery、AIKE 画廊英国Triangle Space、Non-Space等展览、驻地和表演项目。她的影像作品曾在波兰数字艺术双年展放映。
